    Digital literacy is indeed an interesting and challenging topic. This is one of the primary prerequisite skills that many of my online students tend to be lacking. It is sometimes hard not to be too hard on students who seem to be completely digitally illiterate but still sign up for online classes anyway. It takes a lot of patience and guidance beyond the mathematical content of the course, but it is great to see students grow and mature in the distance learning modality. I have had several students thank me the help I gave them when they are in their next semester online courses.
